Celestron Sky-Master 20×80 Binoculars>>>>>>>?!?!?
i just got these binoculars for christmas. are they know to be nice than most ones? let me know how these are and whats good/bad about them……..and can u see saturns rings???>>>>>>>>>>>>>http://www.celestron.com/c3/product.php?CatID=28&ProdID=188
thanks alot guys!
20×80 means they have 20x magnification and 80 mm optics…so they will need a tripod to hold them steady, or some type of support, and they will collect lots of light for sufficient brightness in the night sky. Celestron makes good optical products, and you should be able to see Saturn’s rings at 20x magnification…provided you have a tripod to make them work to their full capability.

I have the same pair and I can definitely see Saturn, it’s pretty sweet

The 20 power magnification is not enough to see Saturn’s rings but makes it almost necessary to use a tripod mount.

For me, 20 power is a bit overkill (I prefer around half that). But the 80mm aperture is great. For holding the binoculars, you want to look at something like these things -
