Which Eyeclops night vision product is better?

August 29th, 2010 -- Posted in binocular reviews | 1 Comment »

I am looking to purchase one of the eyeclops nightvision products as a present, But I wasn’t sure which one to purchase? It seems that a lot of reviews say that the binoculars are better as it has dual vision, whereas with the goggles you can only see through with one eye. However, the binoculars cannot be worn, which is something to consider. Which one would you recommend?

I suggest

Barska10x25 monocular – Keep Looking!

August 19th, 2010 -- Posted in binocular reviews | 4 Comments »

This is a low cost monocular offering from Barska. I was hoping to add this to my hunting load-out after my initial testing with it. It is not a high value option as it fell apart during the review. I have been using this for about 6 months and I have had some issues to date before it started to fall apart in my hands. The pupil is very small and the eye relief is not good. You really need to push your eye all the way in to see the picture at all. The clarity of the optics seem to be ok in most light conditions, however, at night it is very apparent this is a low cost option. The image quality is ok with some aberrations that can be expected in a low end offering. I can not recommend this offering from Barska. I will continue to look for a high quality low cost option providing a high value system.

Eyeclops Nightvision Infrared Stealth Binoculars REVIEW

August 11th, 2010 -- Posted in binocular reviews | 23 Comments »

**Eyeclops Nighvision Binoculars are in the “The Official List of Hot Toys for Christmas 2009″ at associatedcontent.com!!

These are the closest thing to the expensive $300 Nightvision binoculars sold online but WAY cheaper! So being a paranormal investigator, I wanted to check out these cool Eyeclops Nightvision Bincoulars. Some people are buying these for like $50 or $60 then selling them on eBay for over $200!! These are for kids but hey, I’m almost 30 and I own these. I thought these would be like the other so-called Nightvision goggles some toy companies are selling but these are REAL! They use REAL IR (Infrared) LEDs just like the expensive $300 Nightvision Goggles! I bought these at our local Kmart on Black Friday for $40 and I can’t believe how awesome these are! Couple things I didn’t mention is: The Gray Nightvision is just like the Green Nightvision, but in the Gray version you can see some colors like red, green and more. Also it comes with a neck strap so it can hang when not in use. Uses 5 (yes 5) AA batteries and no you can’t use rechargeables with these for some reason. The magnification (since they are binoculars) are not very magnified so don’t let the name fool you. It only has like 1x zoom on it if anything. Very light weight and I think are perfect for kids OR adults! If you have any questions about this product, feel free to ask!
